In the early 1800's the Bell family moved on to a large, quiet, and quite average plot of land in middle Tennessee. It wasn't long before they started witnessing abnormal activities such as odd animals roaming around and strange noises throughout the night. The Bell family decided they had to seek guidance from others in the community. It is documented that one particular night this strange force took on a identity and a voice and identified itself as "Kate" the "Bell's Witch". It was said that she was haunting them to accomplish 2 things 1.Kill John Bell 2.Keep his daughter from marrying the neighbor boy. When John eventually was killed by poison the "Bell Witch" gained a lot of popularity. Andrew Jackson is even documented of being a visitor to the Bell property and experienced so much abnormal activity he fled without staying the night. It is still believed that the "Bell Witch" is occupying the property and making herself known.

All reasons spirits remain behind. But sometimes it's something entirely different: folks get so attached to their homes that they just can't bear to leave...even after they die. Franklin seems to be full of both kinds. We've got departed socialites, spies, businessmen, Confederate soldiers, and at least one dog, all roaming downtown, and we spend an interesting hour and a half with them on this tour. One is helpful, several appear lonely, and one seems to be afraid of the dark.

Scream Creek Haunted Woods is the Nashville area’s most unique outdoor haunted attraction. We are open every Friday and Saturday in October. The first group goes through at dark and the last ticket is sold at 11 p.m. We are all new for 2010 and now offer a terrifying outdoor attraction, a flashlight corn maze, and hay rides, as well as updated holding areas, concession stands and restrooms.

A group of Vamps have colonized in an old town North of Nashville. A group of militant "SEEKERS" have set up base camp below the town with plans of infiltration and extermination of the vamps. The "SEEKERS" need you to join the hunt. (if you can handle it. some won't) It's Vamps vs Seekers. Hunt or be hunted. This fall at Monster Mountain: VAMPS OF VENGEANCE.

Haunted Murfreesboro is back for its 6th year! Haunted Murfreesboro is a walking, storytelling tour of downtown Murfreesboro focusing on stories of Murfreesboro¹s past- weird tales, strange tales, haunted tales, true tales that are just of Murfreesboro. This event is sponsored by BoroTellers. Please note the tour consists of a walk of approximately an hour. Recommended for ages 13 and up.

Devil's Dungeon spans over 40,000 square feet, and is the most controversial haunted house in Nashville. It has over 40 scenes with an eclectic mix of nightmarish and interactive vignettes.
